ESTIMATOR - COMMERCIAL DOORS & WINDOWS

I am looking to recruit an experienced Estimator to work for a busy construction company on the outskirts of Orpington, Kent Please be aware that the offices are not located near any public transport links – so you ideally need to drive or have your own transport. Also, it is on a ULEZ boundary. The role will require someone who has previously worked as an Estimator, preferably with experience in Curtain Walling, & Windows and Doors, as this what the company mainly specialise in. The company have an enviable portfolio of clients within the construction industry covering multi million pound commercial & residential projects. They also have added to their projects and client list and this has resulted in them wanting to expand their established estimating team They are also working with new systems ; Tecnal & Schuco – so if you have worked with these systems this would be ideal But experience with with LogiKal & Schucal (or similar) is required ideally Duties; Responsible for full estimating duties on new projects Calculating all areas of projects, labour, site, materials, etc Overseeing projects to ensure costs remain in line with forecasts Understanding scope of bids Obtaining quotes from 3rd parties Keep upto date with industry updates and market costs Maintaining contact with PM’s for costings in case of revision to estimates Presenting of estimates to Management and Clients Liaison with Clients, 3rd parties etc. Occasional site visits Experience & Skills The role will require someone who has previously worked as an Estimator, preferably within Curtain Walling, & Windows and Doors, as this what the company mainly specialise in. or Construction Experience with with LogiKal & Schucal (or similar) is required ideally They are also working with new systems ; Tecnal & Schuco – so if you have worked with these systems this would be ideal Full office-based role; 8.00 – 5.00 Lovely offices with parking on site
