Job Description

Mechanical Estimator Salary: Up to £60,000 Car Allowance Location: Yorkshire Parkinson Gray Associates are working with a long-standing client within the retail fit-out and building services sector to recruit a Mechanical Estimator. This is a key role in a busy estimating team, preparing accurate costings and tenders for fast-track retail and commercial projects. You will work closely with project managers and directors to ensure bids are competitive, compliant, and commercially sound. The Role: * Preparing detailed mechanical services estimates for retail and commercial projects * Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations * Working with the pre-construction and project delivery teams to develop winning tenders * Identifying value engineering opportunities and risk items * Ensuring all bids are accurate, compliant, and submitted on time The Person: * Experienced Mechanical Estimator from a building services / M&E background * Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail * Confident working on fast-track retail and fit-out schemes * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * Able to work to tight deadlines in a busy estimating environment What’s on offer: * Salary up to £60,000 plus car allowance * Opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of projects * Long-term career prospects within a supportive team If you’re an experienced Mechanical Estimator looking for your next move, we’d like to hear from you.
