About Our Client: Our client is a well-established commercial refurbishment main contractor operating across the UK. With a strong reputation built on quality workmanship and excellent service, they pride themselves on delivering high-end internal and external refurbishment projects that consistently exceed client expectations. Thanks to a large proportion of repeat and referral business, our client has continued to grow across multiple sectors. They are now looking to expand their commercial team by hiring a skilled and driven Quantity Surveyor. Sectors include: * Painting & Decorating * Office Refurbishments * Industrial Refurbishments * Maintenance Services * Roofing * Electrical and Plumbing Services The Role: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of refurbishment projects from pre-construction through to final account. You’ll be responsible for managing costs, contracts, and commercial risk while working closely with project managers and clients to ensure financial success and project efficiency. Responsibilities: * Prepare cost estimates and budgets for projects * Manage all commercial aspects of multiple live projects * Monitor variations and submit valuations/applications for payment * Procure subcontractors and manage payments * Prepare and negotiate final accounts * Ensure projects are delivered on budget and meet financial targets * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors Requirements: * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction or refurbishment industry * Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial best practices * Excellent analytical and negotiation skills * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously * Strong communication and organisational skills * Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management Salary & Benefits: * Competitive salary up to £80,000 (depending on experience) * Opportunities for career progression within a growing business
