Fire Door Surveyor – Contract Role Location: London (Various Sites) Contract Duration: Minimum 6 Months Start Date: Immediate Employment Type: Contract Rate: £250.00 per day Are you a skilled Fire Door Surveyor looking for your next contract? We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team and carry out detailed fire door inspections across a variety of sites in London. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough fire door inspections in accordance with BS 8214 and BM TRADA/Q-Mark or equivalent standards. Prepare detailed, accurate reports identifying compliance issues, defects, and required remedial works. Liaise with project managers, building managers, and contractors to ensure survey findings are clearly communicated and understood. Work independently across multiple sites, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and compliance. ✅ Requirements: Proven experience surveying and reporting on fire doors in residential and/or commercial properties. In-depth knowledge of current fire door regulations and standards. Relevant qualifications/certifications (e.g., FDIS, BM TRADA, IFC, or equivalent). Strong reporting and documentation skills. Ability to start immediately and commit to a minimum 6-month contract. CSCS card and valid UK driving licence (preferred but not essential). Why Join Us?
