Instructional Designer

We are seeking experienced Instructional Designers to support the design and development of a suite of online Master’s programmes. This is a flexible contract opportunity, ideal for freelancers looking to add additional project work alongside existing commitments. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with academic Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to shape course content. Design and develop high-quality scripts and storyboards for online learning. Work within established frameworks and processes to deliver engaging, structured course materials. Apply instructional design best practices to create a clear, impactful learner journey. Adapt to and adopt the client’s AI-supported development process (full training provided). About You Proven experience in instructional design, ideally within Higher Education or online postgraduate programmes. Strong ability to collaborate with academics and SMEs. Skilled in scriptwriting, storyboarding, and online course design. Organised, adaptable, and comfortable working remotely. Contract Details Flexible hours: 10–30 hours per week Remote contract role £200 per day (pro rata) Training provided in the client’s AI development process This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the design of world-class Master’s programmes while enjoying the flexibility of freelance work.
