Key Responsibilities: Working as a project planner with P6 experience to support the delivery of an integrated programme of work, support the Planning Manager with schedule integrity and development and reporting. Where required to, the Planner will help support the Assistant Planner. Produce and maintain the schedule in P6. Work closely with the Project Manager and Delivery Teams to gather progress to facilitate accurate schedule updates and development. Carry out Quality checks on the programme, within the client’s internal programme and supplier programmes. Update the Clients programme in accordance with internal processes, producing month end reports and outputs for the Project team and relevant Stakeholders. Build/develop Integrated programmes with the project team across a variety of disciplines, to support assurance and approval gates. Carry out, reporting, analysis, and evaluation of the programme(s), looking at critical path and key milestones. Support the risk management process building QSRA Programmes. Ability to support Earned Value Reporting (as required) Key Requirements Essential – Primavera (P6) knowledge Ability to work on own initiative to develop programmes with the Project Team Experienced in planning across all stages of the project lifecycle. Experienced in monthly programme updating and reporting. Experienced in the monthly review and assessment of supplier schedules. Good understanding of risk and opportunity management with reference to planning & programming Experience of working in a client environment. Able to communicate professionally and effectively with a variety of Stakeholders. Good commercial awareness. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular; Excel, Word, and Outlook Able to gain Security Clearance Desirable – Ideally 4-5 years’ experience Experience of managing schedules on NEC Projects, preferrable.
