Estimator Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire Salary: Competitive Salary & Benefits Contract Type: Permanent The Role We’re seeking an experienced Estimator to join our client’s building maintenance and construction division, providing a competitive and accurate tendering function for projects up to £10m. Based in Lincoln, you’ll support a wide range of new build, refurbishment, and maintenance projects across multiple sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a well-established regional contractor with a strong pipeline of repeat business and long-term client relationships. What’s On Offer Competitive salary with excellent benefits Group personal pension scheme and profit-related pay Employee share scheme Opportunities for further training, development, and progression A supportive and collaborative working environment What You’ll Bring Proven background in estimating within construction, covering both refurbishment and new build projects Strong understanding of CDM 2015 Health & Safety requirements, contractual awareness, and modern methods of construction Experience overseeing both traditional and Design & Build tenders Skilled in appraising tender documents, subcontract and material enquiries, and producing detailed bills of quantities Knowledge of risk and value management, cost planning, and tender adjudications Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project , and experience with specialist estimating software Experience procuring subcontract packages across varying values High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously A relevant construction-related qualification (HNC, Diploma, or Degree) is desirable but not essential If you’re an Estimator with a strong construction background and the ability to deliver accurate and competitive tenders, we’d love to hear from you!
