Business Systems Analyst

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join a Digital Technology Team within a leading bank in Canada. This team is focused on driving digital transformation and innovation within their wealth management practice through agile delivery of technology solutions. The BSA will work closely with product owners and business stakeholders to define business needs, translate them into actionable requirements. This role is working to support the delivery of proprietary digital products that enhance automation, reduce manual processes, and improve client engagement. This role is a 6 month contract with extensions and is hybrid 2x per week in Downtown Toronto. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. - Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows. - Partner with agile squads throughout the software development lifecycle. - Support system testing, UAT, and validation of new features. - Align technology solutions with business goals and KPIs. - Promote agile practices and continuous improvement. - Act as a subject matter expert for investment products and digital initiatives. Necessary Skills and Experience: - 7 years of experience in as a Business Systems Analyst withing financial services specifically asset/wealth management or investment firms. - Strong understanding of investment products (Mutual Funds, ETFs, CDRs, etc.). - Experience working in proprietary digital technology environments. - Expertise in Agile methodologies and tools (Scrum, JIRA, Confluence) and experience with SharePoint and MS Office. - Proven ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Experience writing business cases, feasibility studies, and current state assessments.
