Job Title: Site Foreman Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex Project: Multi-Storey Car Park Duration: Ongoing Work Salary: Competitive Day Rate Start Date: ASAP Job Type: Contract / Freelance The Role: We are currently seeking an experienced Site Foreman on behalf of our client for an ongoing project in Southend-on-Sea. The role involves overseeing subcontractors and supporting the site management team in working on a multi-storey car park to high standards. This is a great opportunity for a reliable, proactive Foreman with strong groundworks and civils knowledge to step into a key role on a long-term project. Duties & Responsibilities: * Supervising on-site labour and subcontractors (e.g., groundworkers, steel fixers, drainage teams) * Supporting the Site Manager in coordinating daily site activities * Ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with drawings/specifications * Leading toolbox talks and enforcing health & safety on site * Managing materials, deliveries, and work areas to ensure smooth workflow * Monitoring quality control and resolving any site issues promptly * Keeping site diaries and records up to date Requirements: * Proven experience as a Site Foreman on civils or structural concrete projects * Strong background in groundworks and RC frames preferred * SMSTS (essential) * CSCS card * First Aid at Work * Ability to read drawings and manage small teams of operatives/subcontractors * Strong communication and leadership skills What You’ll Get: * Ongoing long-term work * Well-organised site and supportive management * Competitive day rate * Immediate start available Apply Today If you’re a Site Foreman with a solid track record and ready to hit the ground running, we’d love to hear from you
