Design Manager

You will be responsible for managing all aspects of Design Management. Their work spans across housing, commercial, and public buildings including schools, healthcare facilities, and residential blocks with a strong focus on refurbishment and fire remediation. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two projects are the same. Role: Review design team technical specifications and drawings Prepare contractors proposals Seek best value Prepare and present design proposals Review contract documents Monitor the development of the design Produce the contractors proposals Coordination of architectural, structure, mechanical and electrical design elements Lead and organise design coordination meetings What they are looking for: Detailed understanding of construction methods, Health, Safety and Environmental legislation Effective communication skills Experience working on Design & Build projects for a main construction contractor.
