️ Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager Location: Close to Romford, Essex - You will need to be a car driver due to the location Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Contract Type: 12-Month Fixed Term Benefits: Pension Scheme, Private Healthcare, Life Assurance, Employee-Owned Trust About the Role A rapidly growing passive fire protection company is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to join their commercial team on a 12-month fixed-term contract - (may be extended due to growth). This role is pivotal in managing the financial and commercial performance of multiple projects, ensuring accurate reporting and supporting operational teams. Key Responsibilities Enquiry Management Collaborate with operations to assess work requirements and costings Maintain client relationships and support business development Liaise with the Commercial Director on future opportunities Financial Management Prepare monthly valuations and applications in line with client schedules Oversee invoicing and resolve account queries with credit control and operations Ensure accurate financial documentation across all projects Commercial Reporting Produce and maintain monthly CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations) Track labour and material costs against project value Maintain and update payment trackers Requirements Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager in construction or fire protection Strong understanding of commercial processes and financial reporting Proficient in cloud-based systems and digital documentation Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively What’s on Offer Competitive salary with a 5% completion bonus Private healthcare and pension scheme Life assurance and employee-focused benefits Training and development opportunities, including external qualifications Supportive and inclusive team culture
