Senior Asset Manager

An ambitious renewable energy developer is looking for a Senior Asset Manager to take ownership of a growing portfolio of utility-scale projects. This is your chance to lead high-impact work that directly contributes to the clean energy transition. What you’ll do: Drive asset performance and unlock value across solar, wind, and BESS projects Manage and coordinate external teams including O&M providers and contractors Oversee budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to maximise returns Lead contracts and service agreements, ensuring smooth operations and compliance Support new project onboarding, acquisitions, and future divestments Mentor and develop junior team members while working across cross-functional teams What you need: 7 years in asset management of renewable energy assets (solar, wind, BESS) Strong technical understanding of renewable energy systems, especially BESS Experience with financial modelling, asset performance tools, and contract management Leadership skills with a track record of mentoring or managing teams Attention to detail, initiative, and excellent communication skills Willingness to travel to project sites, including occasional international trips Nice to have: Experience with transmission-connected projects Knowledge of ESG reporting or sustainability frameworks Exposure to investors, lenders, or capital processes Familiarity with ISO 55001 asset management standards This hybrid role offers the opportunity to shape and grow an asset management function in a dynamic renewable energy environment, with the chance to make a tangible impact on the energy transition.
