HSQE Manager

Force Contracting Services are looking for a dedicated and proactive HSQE Manager to join our growing team on a permanent basis. We are a specialist civil engineering contractor delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across the UK. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and manage the implementation of HSQE policies and procedures across all civil engineering projects * Conduct audits, site inspections, and incident investigations, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and internal standards * Develop and deliver training sessions and toolbox talks to promote a positive safety culture * Maintain accreditations including ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) * Collaborate with project and site managers to embed HSQE best practices from planning through to delivery * Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all aspects of HSQE performance Requirements: * Proven experience in a similar HSQE role within the civil engineering or construction sector * NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent) * Strong working knowledge of UK HSE legislation and ISO management systems * Excellent communication and leadership skills * A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to influence at all levels What You’ll Get in Return: * Competitive salary based on experience * Career progression opportunities within a fast-growing civil engineering contractor * 28 days annual leave, including Bank Holidays * Free weekend stays for family & friends at a 4* caravan park in Lancashire * Company-paid nights out and team events If you are interested in this role, please send an up-to-date CV through to the email address provided to start your application process
