Site Manager – New Build Care Home Project Location: York Project Duration: Now until July 2026 Project Stage: First Floor Masonry Contract Type: [Permanent / Freelance] Salary/Rate: £280-£300 per day We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a new build care home project, currently progressing through the first floor masonry stage. The successful candidate will play a key role in the ongoing delivery of this traditionally built, commercial-scale development through to completion in mid-2026. Key Responsibilities: * Day-to-day site management and coordination of subcontractors and trades * Ensuring health & safety standards are upheld at all times * Managing site logistics and materials * Liaising with clients, consultants, and senior management * Monitoring programme milestones and ensuring works are progressing on schedule * Overseeing quality control and snagging processes Requirements: * Proven experience managing traditional build, commercial projects (care homes, schools, hospitals, etc.) * Strong leadership and organisational skills * Excellent understanding of construction health & safety * SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification (essential) * Previous experience taking a new build from superstructure through to handover Benefits: * Opportunity to work on a high-quality, long-term project * Supportive and experienced project team * Stable workload through to project completion in July 2026 Please apply or email Mark directly
