JOB SUMMARY Within the Global BI Organization and under its governance, the Business Intelligence Analyst will work within the Business Intelligence Team to provide analysis, develop and maintain reports for BI tools. The position requires analytical skills with a strong technical background. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure the understanding of business needs and translate them into technical solutions Provide guidance to developers during all phases of development to ensure delivery aligns with business requirements Develop and maintain Business Intelligence dashboards (Power BI) Perform and document data analysis, data testing, ad-hoc reports and POC validation using SQL on MS SQL servers Follow directions and priorities given by the BI Functional Manager in Geneva Follow the HQ BI Framework Report any project/product issues to the BI Functional Manager in Geneva ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Participate in the standardization and industrialization of BI processes Carry out developments using Agile methodology Complete ad hoc tasks and projects as required by the Company QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence (R) Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Analysis (R) Proven experience in MS BI SSAS reports (R) Proven experience in Microsoft BI Power BI (R) Proven experience in Microsoft BI SSRS (P) Good experience in Microsoft BI SSIS (P) Proven experience in data quality or data management (P) Good knowledge of SQL Server language (R) Good knowledge of the full BI stack (R) Experience in Agile methodology (P) Experience in the maritime shipping industry (P) Knowledge of Azure cloud technologies appreciated (P) Fluency in English (oral and written) (R) Fluency in Italian (oral and written) (P) WHAT WE OFFER We offer a range of benefits including learning opportunities, a comprehensive welfare system, life and health insurance, a modern workstation and discounts within the MSC group.
