Senior Instrumentation Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Instrumentation Engineer Responsibilities Prepare instrumentation elements (tagged items and bulk materials), quantities for cost estimation and erection works. Define engineering design basis and guidelines; prepare technical specifications, data sheets, installation specifications, drawings, BOQs, and MTOs. Prepare technical documentation for instrumentation material and services requisitions and conduct technical evaluations following internal procedures. Participate in P&ID mechanization. Validate vendor control valves and safety valves sizing calculations, measurement element sizing calculations. Ensure instrumentation 3D modeling design activities. Review client technical documentation and requirements. Coordinate subcontracted engineering activities and control subcontracted documents. Optimize instrumentation design to ensure minimal cost and complexity, complying with contractual and safety requirements. Perform site engineering activities during construction and commissioning phases. Requirements At least 5 years of proven experience in similar roles with international main contracting and engineering companies. Technical skills include: Developing technical specifications, datasheets, and installation designs for various instruments, analyzers, and bulk materials. Interfacing independently with other engineering disciplines and suppliers to identify optimized technical and economic solutions. Finalizing technical evaluations for purchase of instruments, analyzers, and bulk materials. Solving interdisciplinary issues independently during project activities. Knowledge of English at B2 / C1 level. Strong attitude to work in multicultural environments and teamwork. Location: Milan head office. Available for international assignments when necessary.
