We hold an extensive portfolio of rotating equipment, process flow, transmission technology, and lifecycle services. Our Instrument Control Engineering team uses cutting-edge technology to design gas and steam turbines, compressors, and expanders. Partner with the best You will be responsible for design activities on our compressor and turboexpander products. Collaborating with multiple engineers and suppliers, you will ensure quality control and on-time delivery. As a Compressor Lead Design Engineer, you will be responsible for: Performing design activities Providing technical guidance and sharing project-related status updates Providing engineering support to internal teams to assist with activities that span the full technical project life-cycle Owning the delivery of technical documentation and drawings to ensure consistency with engineering policies and contractual specifications Overseeing relationships with global and local vendors to manage time zones and successful on-time delivery of required components Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a Degree in Engineering Have knowledge about either Mechanical, Thermodynamic, or Fluid Dynamics. Have previous work experience or knowledge about the turbomachinery industry or related areas, and/or a Ph.D. equivalent in relevant subjects. Demonstrate experience of using CAD software such as Unigraphics or similar Have familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) Be a problem solver, with an analytical approach to identifying root causes and implementing solutions Have excellent written and verbal communication skills Be fluent in English and be able to work in the EU Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
