We are expanding our Hardware Design team in Italy (Lecce, Puglia) and are looking for experienced Senior Digital IC Design Engineers . Your Role As a Senior Digital IC Design Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the design and development of complex digital ICs , including SoCs and IP cores. You will be involved throughout the full ASIC/IC/MMCU lifecycle, from specification to tape-out, and provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Responsibilities Lead the RTL implementation of digital IPs and SoCs (SystemVerilog or VHDL) Design complex state machines, datapaths, arbitration, and clock-domain crossing logic Ensure functional verification, code coverage, and timing closure Define and apply DFT strategies for the designs Participate in project planning, scheduling, and reporting Mentor junior engineers and support cross-functional collaboration Minimum Requirements MSc/BSc in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or related field Extensive experience in digital IC design and RTL implementation Strong knowledge of digital design tools (ModelSim, Libero, Git/GitLab) Solid understanding of DFT techniques Proven communication skills and ability to work across teams Proficiency in English (written & spoken) Nice to Have Processor ISA knowledge (Cortus ISA, RISC-V, ARM, etc.) DDR memory interface or DSP design experience Exposure to AI/ML hardware accelerators Software experience in C/C++ Scripting experience (Python, Perl, Shell) Familiarity with real-time embedded systems What We Offer Permanent contract in Lecce, Italy Competitive salary package Meal card, health & care insurance Collaborative, innovative environment with career growth opportunities Interested?
