Job Description

Location: Midrand, Gauteng Job Purpose The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of energy-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage client expectations, and ensure alignment with the companys strategic goals. Requirements Bachelors degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification (preferred). Minimum of 5 years experience in project management, preferably in the energy, engineering, or construction sector. Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary projects with strict timelines and budgets. Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or similar tools). Experience with renewable energy (especially solar PV) projects. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end execution of energy projects from initiation to closure. Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Ensure resource availability and allocation. Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and alignment. Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Perform risk management to minimize project risks and issues. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations. Prepare project reports, proposals, and presentations for management and clients. Conduct post-project evaluations and identify areas for improvement.
