Electrical Design Engineer

We’re seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our client's Birmingham MEP team. You’ll work on exciting projects across commercial, retail, industrial, and residential sectors, while also supporting service lines such as technical due diligence (TDD), dilapidations, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) surveys, and project monitoring . This role offers real scope for professional growth and career progression. Key Responsibilities Deliver electrical building services design (LV distribution, lighting, small power, containment, fire & security, ELV). Produce specifications, drawings, and technical reports. Carry out surveys, site inspections, and attend client/contractor meetings. Support TDD, dilapidations, PPM surveys, and project monitoring. Collaborate with wider engineering and sustainability teams to drive best practice and decarbonisation strategies. About You Experience in building services/MEP design Degree in Engineering (or equivalent). Knowledge of BS 7671 and Building Regulations.
