Breakfast Club Supervisor Abbeyhill Primary School Salary : £25,905 - £26,111 (pro-rata for part-time and sessional) Hours : 6.40 per week, 38 weeks sessional Working pattern for the position is Monday - Friday from 0730-0850hrs We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to lead our breakfast club provision in Abbeyhill Primary School. The breakfast club provides a safe, welcoming and social environment for our pupils to engage in a range of activities and benefit from a healthy breakfast before the start of their school day. Ideally, the candidate will have experience working with children in a primary school or out of school childcare setting and have confidence leading and managing a small staff team. Ideally, the candidate will hold a current food hygiene qualification. This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
