Quality Inspector/Test Inspector

Quality Inspector/Test Technician Location: Ebbw Vale Salary: Open Contract Type: Permanent Shift Pattern : Days An exciting opportunity has arisen for a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Inspector/Test Inspector to join a dynamic manufacturing environment in Ebbw Vale. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards before they reach the customer. Key Responsibilities Perform detailed in-process and final inspections on electrical assemblies, wiring harnesses, control panels, and integrated systems. Validate products against technical drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams , and product specifications. Conduct electrical tests using equipment such as multimeters, continuity testers, and insulation resistance testers. Identify, document, and report non-conformances ; support root cause investigations and corrective actions. Ensure compliance with relevant standards, such as BS7671 , ISO 9001 , CE/UKCA regulations, and internal quality procedures. Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation . Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to support continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in internal audits and contribute to maintaining QMS compliance. Skills & Experience Required: Experience in quality inspection within an electrical or electro-mechanical manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of electrical principles , wiring practices, and circuit verification. Ability to interpret and work from technical and electrical drawings . Proficient in using electrical testing equipment . Strong documentation skills and a high level of attention to detail. Knowledge of quality standards and basic inspection procedures (ISO 9001 or equivalent).
