Solution Architect – Financial Services Location: London / Sheffeild UK (Hybrid working model) Contract Type: 3-6 Months Contract About the Role We are looking for a high-performing Solution Architect to join our design team within the Financial Services Sector . This is a key role where you will be responsible for architecting and designing solutions that align with approved design standards. You will collaborate closely with Product, Change, IT teams and third-party vendors to deliver robust, scalable, and secure technology solutions. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on expertise to ensure solutions meet business needs, comply with architectural principles, and are delivered to the highest standards. Skills & Experience Extensive experience designing applications and integrations across: End-user technologies (devices, hardware) Core Infrastructure (servers, storage, networking) Security (firewalls, encryption) Software (operating systems, browsers) Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) Strong technical expertise in Microsoft technologies with the ability to communicate clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Experience collaborating with third-party vendors in large-scale enterprise environments. Integration skills with knowledge of firewall, infrastructure, and external systems, using different integration patterns. Working knowledge of Cisco networking, firewalls, M365/Office 365, SAN storage, Wi-Fi, and related technologies. Proven background as a solutions architect, pre-sales architect, or functional lead.
