Procurement Lead

Are you a procurement/ Supply Chain professional ready to make a meaningful impact in one of the world’s most complex energy redevelopment projects? We’re hiring multiple Procurement Leads to support the transformation of a major energy project in Iraq. These roles span across: Projects, Operations & Production, Wells & Subsurface, categories. Each position offers a unique opportunity to shape procurement strategy, drive value, and collaborate with national partners in a high-stakes, multi-disciplinary environment. Depending on your category expertise, you’ll be responsible for: Leading in-country procurement delivery across engineering, construction, maintenance, drilling, logistics, IT, HSE, and more. Developing and executing category strategies that align with project goals and local regulations. Partnering with stakeholders across Legal, Finance, HSE, and technical teams to ensure seamless procurement and contract management. Managing supplier relationships, performance, and compliance in a dynamic and evolving market. Supporting the integration of local content and fostering strong partnerships with Iraqi suppliers and contractors. We’re looking for individuals with: A degree in Procurement, Engineering, or a related discipline (CIPS or equivalent preferred). Proven experience in one or more procurement categories, ideally within oil and gas or large-scale infrastructure. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills. Ability to work across cultures, disciplines, and geographies. Familiarity with middle east procurement laws and contracting standards.
