Head of Logistics

The Head of Logistics will be working for a national distribution business leading their operations which are centred in Birmingham. Responsibilities Develop and implement logistics strategies that align with business objectives Oversee operational logistics with a transport bias Drive operational process development and technology usage Lead, motivate, and develop logistics teams across multiple sites Manage commercial functions and develop internal stakeholder relationships Use data and analytics to inform decisions and improve performance. Key Skills Proven track record in a senior logistics role with an operational focus Experience managing multiple functions and complex internal stakeholder networks A data led approach to logistics with demonstrable ability of process improvement Able to balance day to day operations performance with strategic logistics operations
