Main duties: To manage the team of Travel Operations Executives across within the Groups department, and provide training and guidance. The role: - To provide direct day-to-day management of the travel operations team within the Groups department - To provide training, support and guidance to the team where needed - To set and monitor KPI’s for the operations team and adjust accordingly - To manage and deal with escalated enquiries from clients in a timely manner - To monitor and give feedback on areas of improvement/areas of success within the team - To be aware of cultural differences within a team and react sensitively - To be aware of important changes in the travel market and communicate course of action to the team - To report to the Directors of the company The candidate: - Experience in a sales role within a Destination Management Company - Essential - Experience in People Management/Team Leadership – Essential - Excellent communication skills with knowledge of cultural differences - Excellent attention to detail and able to work under pressure - Ability to lead a team effectively and make decisions appropriately - Excellent organisational skills - Proactive, confident and dynamic personality - IT literate The salary: from £50,000 negotiable per annum depending on experience French Selection (FS), leading UK-based consultancy specialising in the recruitment of bilingual and multilingual professionals for international business (industries and services).
