Internal Auditor

Job Tittle: Internal Auditor – ISO 17025 Location: York Salary: Up to £32,000 Contract: 3–6 Month Temp (potential to go perm) We’re looking for an experienced Internal Auditor (ISO 17025) to join our team in York. This role is key to ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, supporting continual improvement, and preparing the lab for external assessments. What you’ll do: Plan, conduct, and report internal audits across management systems and technical activities. Verify compliance with ISO 17025 and laboratory procedures. Identify nonconformities and recommend process improvements. Support teams with corrective actions and follow-up. What we’re looking for: ✔️ Formal training in internal auditing (ISO 17025, ISO 9001, or equivalent) ✔️ Minimum 2 years’ experience auditing within an ISO 17025 laboratory ✔️ Strong knowledge of laboratory quality systems This is a great opportunity for someone with auditing expertise to make an impact in a leading lab environment.
