Job Title: Civil Litigation Solicitor / Lawyer Location: Essex Salary: £42,500 – £55,000 (DOE) Partnership Prospects Job Type: Full-Time Overview: A well-established and reputable law firm in Essex is seeking a skilled Civil Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a legal professional with a minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in litigation to take on a varied caseload and progress within a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage a broad range of litigation matters including: Personal Injury (RTA & EL) Contested Probate Commercial and Contract Disputes Employment Law Land and Boundary Issues Prepare and file legal documents including pleadings and applications. Conduct legal research and develop case strategies. Represent clients in hearings, trials, and mediations. Negotiate settlements and maintain client relationships. Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to departmental growth. Requirements: Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive with a valid practising certificate. Proven experience in civil litigation. Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage a substantial caseload and work both independently and within a team.
