Our industry leading Partner – partnered with one of the largest Consultancies in the world, is looking for an experienced System Integration and Test Engineer in a Hybrid capacity. This client is a strong, recognisable global automotive brand with attractive project opportunities! Job title : System Integration and Test Engineer – Hybrid role As a Control System Integration and Test Engineer , you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless integration and validation of hardware & control systems within Battery Management Systems. You’ll lead verification, control functionality testing across key BMS domains—including SDU control units, CSC electronics, and WGM hardware modules—under safety and performance constraints. Location : Greater Manchester or Birmingham CANDIDATES OUTSIDE OF THE EU CANNOT BE CONSIDERED. Typical Areas of Responsibility include: System Integration Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) Testing & Validation Test Automation & Verification Issue Diagnosis & Continuous Improvement We are seeking the following: 5 years of experience in system testing, embedded controls, or BMS integration Hands-on experience with HIL platforms (e.g., dSPACE, NI, ETAS), test automation, and fault injection Proficient in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, and communication tools (CANalyzer, CANoe) Knowledge of SDU control logic, CSC interfaces, and gateway hardware What can our client offer you?
