Design / Civil Engineer – Staffordshire Up to £60K car allowance bonus We’re looking for a talented Design/Civil Engineer to join one of the UK’s leading privately-owned housebuilders. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality housing developments, from design and procurement through to site support and cost management. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a people-first, design-led housebuilder where your skills will shape sustainable, high-quality homes as well as your career. ✅ What you’ll do: Oversee engineering designs and liaise with consultants & subcontractors Ensure compliance with highways & drainage agreements (S38, S104, S278) Use AutoCAD, PDS, and MicroDrainage to produce technical designs Manage budgets, valuations, and subcontractor contracts Collaborate across Commercial & Technical teams What we’re looking for: HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) Experience with a housebuilder or consultancy Proficiency in AutoCAD & design software Strong commercial awareness and project management skills
