User Researcher – Public Sector Contract Day Rate: £525–£565 (Inside IR35) Location: Remote-first Length: 6 month - rolling Our client is looking for an experienced User Researcher with current (or eligible) SC clearance to support a major public sector transformation initiative. This is an opportunity to work with a consultancy delivering critical services that shape how government interacts with citizens. What we’re looking for: Proven track record delivering user research in government and UCD environments. Strong knowledge of GDS principles and agile ways of working. Experience designing, planning, and conducting research that drives service and interaction design. Ability to map services end-to-end, uncover friction points, and develop solutions collaboratively with stakeholders. Comfortable presenting insights and running workshops to embed user-centred thinking across teams. Contract details: Rate: £525–£565 per day (Inside IR35). Clearance: Active SC or eligible to obtain. Start date: Immediate. Remote-first role with occasional travel as required.
