Senior Quantity Surveyor Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Flexible Working: Hybrid working Sector: Cost Management / Quantity Surveying Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum car allowance benefits The Opportunity Panoramic Associates is proud to be working in partnership with a leading consultancy to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor for their Cost Management team . This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, collaborative team that delivers high-impact projects across a range of sectors, including Education , Residential (particularly PBSA schemes) , and currently, Local Government and Charity sector clients . You'll play a key role in delivering projects from inception to completion while being supported to grow within a forward-thinking, people-focused business. Key Responsibilities Take the lead on all cost management activities across the full project lifecycle. Supervise and mentor junior team members, supporting their development and ensuring efficient service delivery. Prepare cost plans, feasibility studies, and BoQs across all project stages. Evaluate building designs and proposals to manage project budgets effectively. Use digital tools (e.g. CostX) for quantity take-off and estimation. Essential Skills & Experience Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related RICS-accredited discipline. Chartered ( MRICS ) status preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC (NEC 4 is desired) suite of contracts. Experience with digital estimation tools (e.g. CostX ) and an interest in digitisation , AI , and BIM . Understanding of LCCs, LCAs, Capital Allowances, and Reinstatement Cost Assessments (preferred). Panoramic Associates is acting as a recruitment partner for this role.
