Quality Engineer

Job Title Location: Stroud Salary: £37,500 Contract Type: Permanent Shift Pattern : Days Mon -Thurs 8am to 4.30am, Fri 8am to 1.30pm Haystack Selection is recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer for an experienced Quality Engineer to join their team in Stroud. Key Responsibilities: Develop and compile Quality Plans / Inspection Test Plans in line with legislation, industry standards, customer requirements, and internal procedures. Provide technical support to all departments for customer quality queries. Investigate quality issues and lead corrective and preventative actions (including 8D and root cause analysis). Assist in developing internal audit processes and monitoring NCR and supplier reject systems. Provide KPI analysis for performance reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives. Organise and facilitate third-party audits in conjunction with the Quality Manager. Represent the Quality Manager in meetings when required. Liaise with customers and suppliers regarding quality issues Skills & Experience Required: Strong working knowledge of ISO9001:2015 quality management systems. Background in Oil & Gas or Aerospace within Quality or Inspection is beneficial. Experience in quality auditing and monitoring desirable. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively. Competent in MS Office and other relevant IT systems.
