Layout & Piping Stress Analysis & Support Engineer NextChem, part of the MAIRE Group, is seeking a Layout & Piping Stress Analysis & Support Engineer to join our team. This role involves developing and optimizing technologies for the energy transition sector, focusing on sustainable solutions such as nitrogen, hydrogen, carbon capture, fuels, chemicals, and polymers. The candidate will be part of the NX Engineering District in Catania, working on innovative technologies to support the energy transition. Responsibilities include: Reporting progress to the Group Leader; Ensuring effective communication within the team; Preparing stress calculations, support designs, material requisitions, and technical bid evaluations under supervision; Checking pipe supports on piping construction drawings; Filing drawings and documents according to instructions. Personal Attributes: At least 5 years of experience in O&G, refinery, or plant design; Engineering degree; Knowledge of Caesar II, and preferably Rhor 2; Fluent in English (spoken and written); Willingness to travel within Italy and internationally.
