Construction HSE Manager

The Company We are Tecnimont SpA, an EPC contractor of Maire Tecnimont Group, a global leader listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, specializing in Engineering & Construction, Technology & Licensing, and Energy Business Development and Ventures. Availability to spend time abroad during construction projects is a key requirement. Activity & Main Responsibilities The HSE Manager is appointed for major projects, including consortiums or ATIs. Reporting to the Site Manager, duties include: Supporting and monitoring the implementation of Tecnimont's HSE policies and management system on site. Performing Job Hazardous Analysis (JHA) and participating in Job Safety Analysis (JSA). Verifying the adequacy and application of the Site HSE Plan and related procedures, updating documentation as needed. Ensuring subcontractors comply with all applicable HSE procedures, regulations, and standards. Organizing and participating in periodic HSE inspections, audits, and walkarounds, preparing reports and follow-up actions. Coordinating HSE training activities on site. Participating in all relevant site HSE meetings. Collaborating with the client on work permits. Investigating work accidents to identify corrective measures to prevent recurrence. Maintaining accident records and addressing areas needing prevention. Promoting personnel training and indoctrination. Leading and coordinating the Site HSE Committee and emergency response teams, including training and drills. Preparing HSE sections of progress and periodical reports, updating HSE statistics, and monitoring performance against project and corporate HSE objectives, proposing recovery plans if needed. Knowledge & Qualifications The ideal candidate must have: An undergraduate degree in Construction Management or relevant Engineering discipline. Minimum 8 years of experience in construction, particularly in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries involving heavy construction, mechanical, electrical, and piping installations.
