Regional Trade Legal/Compliance Manager, Multinational Company

Overview The Regional Trade Legal/Compliance Manager plays a crucial role in safeguarding the legal interests of the company. This position supports the Legal Department by overseeing and advancing comprehensive compliance programs, ensuring that the organization remains aligned with all relevant legal and regulatory frameworks. Expertise in trade compliance and export control is required. The position reports to the Legal Counsel and is part of the Corporate organization. Responsibilities Balance both the daily management of compliance operations and the strategic development of policies that influence medium-term performance of the function and the broader organization. Scope includes multiple teams or regional units, covering planning, budgeting, results monitoring, and policy formulation at a multi-country level. Accountable for operational volume, quality, delivery, and financial outcomes. Lead teams effectively and act as a subject matter authority within the organization. Address complex challenges by refining or innovating techniques, methods, processes, or systems. Integrate compliance excellence with the organization\'s strategic and operational goals.
