Operations Engineer

The Operations Engineer role is part of the Energy Carriers Business Line. Responsibilities Process Monitoring and Optimization: Analyze operational data to ensure process parameters are within design limits and optimize production efficiency. Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Provide technical support to operations teams for troubleshooting process upsets or equipment malfunctions. Performance Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on production performance, efficiency, and system availability. Process Safety and Compliance: Ensure operations comply with process safety standards and environmental regulations. Maintenance Support: Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and plan preventive and corrective maintenance of process equipment. Operational Procedures and Training: Support the training of operations personnel on new or updated process systems and safety practices. Interface with Other Disciplines: Work closely with instrumentation, mechanical, and safety teams to ensure integrated and safe operation of the FPSO. Qualifications Education: Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering Experience: 3-5 years as a Process Engineer within the Oil & Gas sector Languages: English B2 Technical Skills: Knowledge of main process simulators (Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, Pipenet, Flarenet, Flaresim, etc.). Experience in preparing and optimizing block diagrams, PFDs and P&IDs.
