NPI Industrialization Project Manager

Job Description

Your Responsibilities Responsible for transferring new products and major product or process changes from engineering to serial production. Manage all industrialization activities within product development, including prototyping, process planning, process validation, and production scale-up. Lead an interdisciplinary project team comprising process, equipment, and test system engineers, ERP/MES architects, supply chain management, purchasing, quality, and facility management. Plan, execute, and control the industrialization project within the designated timeline and budget, including project reporting and stakeholder management. Coordinate process planning, including defining the value stream (process, material, and information flow), PFMEA/control plan, specification and selection of assembly and test equipment, and planning of production layout/infrastructure. Oversee process validation and production scale-up, including infrastructure installation, equipment setup and verification, software setup, HSE assessment, prototype and pre-series production, and preparation for serial production. Define project-related industrialization requirements such as design for manufacturing, design for service, and design for reliability. Participate in change board meetings to manage major changes within the NPI core team and serve as the main interface to the development project manager for all industrialization activities. Your Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's/Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. At least 5 years of professional experience as a project manager managing medium to large projects. Minimum of 3 years of experience in ramp-up management. Extensive experience with ERP (SAP or AP) and MES systems. Project management certification (PMI or IPMA) is advantageous. Proficient in project management software such as MS Project and Jira. Knowledge of Lean Management and Six Sigma; certification is a plus. Experience with automotive core tools like FMEA, APQP, PPAP, 8D, etc. Our Commitment Innovative work environment within a young, dynamic team.
