Discover more about our business here : Nadara.com / about / Discover more about our culture and approach here : Nadara.com / living-the-company / Job Description Summary To strengthen our Engineering & Grid Onshore Team we are looking for a Grid Manager based in Italy willing to join a dynamic and fast growing environment. The role covers the entire project development from concept design through to construction, installation and commissioning of assets. Main Responsibilities Manage the grid connection processes and applications from initial assessment to final agreement, including engagement with key stakeholders and early identification of potential risks and issues Analyse potential connection options, associated costs, potential impacts on the programme and risks, providing technical inputs to risk registers Collaborate with regional teams within Nadara (project managers, project engineers, business development managers) to develop and manage project design for multiple projects Monitor onshore transmission regulatory regimes and developments to address challenges and opportunities for projects in Italy (and potentially other countries) Participate in consultations and forums with government, regulators, TSOs and other stakeholders on onshore renewable energy development Define the electrical layout of the project (feasibility / basic design / executive design), focusing on HV and MV systems Choose main equipment (cables, power transformers, substation layout, etc.) Provide technical support to Procurement during RFPs for electrical stations and main equipment Prepare Nadara technical specifications for standardization Discuss with equipment manufacturers to verify products and compatibility with the project Required Skills & Experience Bachelor or master’s in electrical engineering or related discipline At least 5-6 years of experience in a similar role In-depth knowledge of the Italian energy industry, including key concepts, regulation and stakeholders Knowledge and experience of the connection application process for E-Distribuzione and TERNA, including Web portals and regional differences from TSO / DSO Excellent communication skills (internal and external stakeholders and partners, both technical and non-technical) Full clean driving license Fluent in Italian and English Knowledge of MS Office Desirable Skills & Experience Management of consultants and contractors Understanding of environmental and sustainability aspects Knowledge of other technologies e.g. hydrogen Additional language skills Pay And Benefits We offer a benefits package including flexible working policy, development and training opportunities, wellbeing initiatives, and mental health support.
