Overview Energy Efficiency Project Manager Leap29 are collaborating with a prominent player in the energy transition, dedicated to driving sustainable solutions across Europe, Latin America, Southeast Asia, the Indian Ocean, and Africa. They specialise in innovative renewable energy projects, with a strong focus on the energy efficiency sector. We are seeking an experienced Energy Efficiency Project Manager to oversee the development and execution of energy efficiency projects across Italy. You will play a key role in ensuring the operability and profitability of assets, working closely with internal teams and stakeholders to implement, coordinate, and optimise technical solutions. Responsibilities Conduct energy audits across various sites (retail outlets, logistics warehouses, food processing industries, etc.). Analyse energy consumption and identify opportunities for energy savings. Develop and design energy efficiency projects, including basic engineering, budgeting, and ROI calculations. Source, qualify, and negotiate with service providers, managing procurement and contractual agreements. Oversee project execution, coordinating with site management and technical teams to ensure successful implementation and expected performance levels. Support the development of operational procedures and methodologies in collaboration with internal teams. Engage with clients and service providers to ensure alignment and project success. Qualifications Engineering background or equivalent technical qualifications. 3 to 6 years of experience in Project Management within industrial services, engineering, energy auditing, energy services, or related fields. Strong knowledge of energy efficiency solutions and key measures for various energy vectors, particularly in commercial & industrial refrigeration. Advantageous: Established network of clients or project references that could generate new business opportunities. Advantageous: Strong relationships with equipment providers, engineering firms, and installers. Bonus: Experience in both engineering design and project execution. Location Based in Milan (Brera).
