Business Analyst

MCS Group is currently working in partnership with a public sector organisation to recruit a Business Analyst on a fixed-term contract (6 months with the view to extension). Excellent hourly rate - £20.98 ph benefits. The Role: Support the design, configuration and implementation of a new ERP system, specialising in either HR or Payroll modules. Gather and validate detailed business requirements, mapping current and future processes to inform system design. Act as a key liaison between service users, ICT colleagues, external partners and the ERP implementation team. Contribute to system configuration, data migration, testing and defect resolution to ensure a successful transition. Develop and maintain accurate documentation including process maps, functional specifications and change logs. Assist with change management through training, communications and transition planning to support service users. Provide ongoing insight and recommendations to enhance business processes and ensure project delivery against agreed milestones. The Person: Relevant experience on a similar project. Experience gathering and analysing functional requirements for systems or digital projects. Valid UK drivers license.
