About the role: As a Behaviour Mentor in Chingford, Waltham Forest, London, you will provide essential one-to-one support to a Year 10 student with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour. Your responsibilities as a Behaviour Mentor: Work 1:1 with a Year 10 student , providing emotional and academic support. Assist in lessons, helping the student stay engaged and motivated. Implement strategies to manage behaviour and support social development. Collaborate with teachers and SEN specialists to create a positive learning environment. Be a role model for resilience and perseverance. What you'll need to succeed as a Behaviour Mentor: Minimum 2:1 Psychology Degree from a Top 20 UK University . Excellent patience, empathy, and communication skills . A passion for working with young people, particularly those with SEMH needs. A strong desire to progress within education and make a meaningful impact. relevant experience working with secondary students with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour.
