Behaviour Mentor

Parker Smith Inclusion is partnering with a school to find a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join our team. This role involves working in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) and supporting students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and challenging behaviour. We are looking for individuals who have a firm approach but understand the importance of boundaries. Key Responsibilities: Provide consistent and firm support to students with special educational needs (SEN). Implement behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment. Build strong, supportive relationships with students to encourage their academic and personal growth. Collaborate with teachers and other staff to develop and deliver individualised support plans. Requirements: Experience in supporting students with SEN and challenging behaviour. A firm yet compassionate approach to behaviour management. Ability to establish and maintain clear boundaries. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to working term time only, with the potential for a temp-to-perm transition.
