Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the company: We are working with a market leading contractor who specialise in cut and carve, refurbishment, new build and prime fit out sectors. The company has been around 20 years with a turnover of £150m. Typical projects range from £3m-£10m with the largest projects reaching £80m. About the role: The company is seeking a senior quantity surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will initially be responsible for overseeing a 3 phased refurbishment project in central London, eventually moving on to a larger project later in the year. If you have experience leading multiple projects with varied values and complexities, this role is for you. Responsibilities: Take full responsibilities for all financial procedures Appoint and manage subcontractors and provide feedback on completion of works Attend and if necessary, chair meetings with design teams and subcontractors Prepare monthly CVRs and create regular budget and price updates Internally reporting into management, keeping them fully informed of issues and potential risks to the business Key Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience Proven experience of fit out, new build or refurbishment works Previous experience of successfully leading large commercial projects and its delivery within time and budget constraints to a high quality CSCS card holder
