Class 1 HGV Day Driver - £15.50 per hour - Darwen (Ad-hoc Work) We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (CE) Day Drivers to provide ad-hoc holiday and sickness cover for our client in Darwen . This is a flexible role, ideal for drivers looking to pick up additional shifts or those preferring non-permanent work. Location: Darwen Working Hours: Ad-hoc day shifts (typical start times between 06:00 - 08:00) Pay Rate: £15.50 per hour Type of Work: Pallet network and general haulage The Role Driving Class 1 vehicles on daytime trunk runs and deliveries across the UK Working on pallet network and general haulage contracts Securing loads safely and delivering to set timescales Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring paperwork is completed correctly Requirements Full UK Class 1 (CE) licence Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience Flexibility to cover shifts at short notice Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious approach What We Offer £15.50 per hour, paid weekly Flexible ad-hoc shifts covering holidays and sickness (not a permanent role) Daytime work across pallet network and general haulage contracts Ongoing opportunities with a respected client in the Darwen area Apply Now If you're a qualified Class 1 Driver with at least 1 year's experience and looking for flexible ad-hoc day work in the Darwen area, we'd love to hear from you.
