Machine Operator - Weekend Nights ?? Location: Launceston ?? Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent ?? Role Overview We are looking for a reliable and motivated Machine Operative to join our production team. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations by running machinery, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to a safe, efficient working environment. ??? Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor packaging machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production. Set up machines according to production schedules and specifications. Perform routine checks and basic maintenance to minimise downtime. Ensure packaging meets quality standards through regular inspections. Follow health & safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organised work area. Report any machine faults or issues promptly to supervisors. Assist with loading materials and handling finished products. Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets. Complete production records and maintain accurate documentation. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and safety. ? Essential Requirements Previous Production or General Warehouse experience ( essential ) Basic numeracy skills ( mandatory ) Good spoken English ? Hours Friday & Saturday: 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM Sunday: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM ?? Pay Rates Initial Rate: £16.41/hour After 12 Weeks: £21.71/hour Weekend Shift Allowance: £2.96/hour (only for hours worked on weekends) ??
