Here at GXO, we are recruiting for a Warehouse First Line Manager to join our Iceland team at our ambient site in Swindon.As a Warehouse First Line Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring and driving efficient operational performance, whilst maintaining strong communications with the on-site management team. This is a full time, permanent position, working an any 5 from 7 rotating shift pattern of, 07:00 to 15:00 and 15:00 to 23:00. Pay, benefits and more: Were looking to offer a salary of up to £33,000.00 per annum and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What youll do on a typical day: Lead a team of colleagues to operational success in our temperature-controlled warehouse Set daily and weekly KPIs and ensure that these are always being met and exceeded Maximise productivity and improve quality in order to grow your team Lead HR requirements in relation to investigation, disciplinary, grievance and absence management What you need to succeed at GXO: Proven experience in managing an operational team in a fast-paced warehouse environment (ideally a grocery operation) The ability to lead continuous improvement projects whilst demonstrating excellent planning skills Excellent communication skills with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
