Head of Human Resources

We are seeking a commercially astute and highly experienced Head of HR to lead the People function in a complex, unionised, multi-site environment. This senior leadership role requires proven expertise in M&A, TUPE, trade union negotiations, and employment relations, alongside strong operational HR leadership. The role includes: Shaping and delivering a people strategy aligned to growth and organisational objectives. Acting as HR lead on M&A projects, including due diligence, TUPE, and integration. Leading ER matters, trade union relationships, consultations, and negotiations. Driving consistency in HR operations and compliance across multiple sites. Leading succession planning, leadership development, and performance management. The essentials: CIPD qualified. Extensive HR leadership experience in multi-site, unionised environments. Strong track record in M&A, TUPE, and union engagement. In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practice. Skilled at influencing senior leaders and managing complex negotiations.
