Job Title: HGV Class 1 Shunter (CE) Location: Bolton Pay Rate: £37,440 per annum Shifts: S unday to Thursday set shift (17:00 - 02:00) Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for reliable, experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team and play a vital role in keeping the supply chain moving.We are looking for Shunters inBolton for our client, whois a leading manufacturer and supplier of trade Bathrooms. What You'll Do: Safely operate Class 1 (CE) vehicles on planned routes between client sites Moving trailers/vehicles on & off bays (double & single deck trailers) Some warehouse duties required on an adhoc basis Loading, unloading, preparing vehicles for loading by removing empty pallets etc Driving an FLT to move pallets around Conduct daily vehicle checks and complete relevant paperwork Maintain vehicles in line with DVSA requirements Perform basic repairs and maintenance Defect reporting Organise the yard Coordinate the movement of delivery trucks and vans to optimise loading and unloading processes Performdaily yard checks reporting any defects to the transport office Ensure timely and accurate deliveries or collections - communicating with all departments in relation to ETA's What You Need: A valid UK HGV Class 1 (CE) Licence At least12 months Class 1 driving experience An FLT Licence and previous experience A current UK Driver CPC (DCPC) card A valid Digital Tachograph card Up to 6 points accepted on licence (No DD, DR, CD, TT, IN endorsements) A professional attitude andstrong communication skills the ability to prioritise tasks in a timely manner Flexibility when it comes to your working hours to help cover annual leave as and when needed You must be a UK resident to be considered for this opportunity.
