Junior Commercial Contracts Lawyer - Interim (Maternity Cover) Panoramic Associates are supporting a public sector client who are seeking an experienced Junior Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join their team on an interim basis. This is a maternity cover post, initially for a minimum of 3 months with the potential to extend up to 12 months. The role will involve: Drafting and reviewing a high volume of complex, non-template commercial contracts Preparing and advising on grant agreements, deeds of variation, and demand letters for breaches Providing procurement support and contract management reporting Supporting large-scale projects from inception to completion Acting as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and trust throughout project delivery Essential skills: Strong experience handling commercial contracts (local government sector experience highly desirable) Solid understanding of procurement processes and requirements Confident communicator with excellent reporting skills Commercially astute, able to work on non-standard and complex agreements Desirable skills: Experience supporting large-scale capital projects Knowledge of local government governance and procedures Key details: Rate: Up to £45 per hour Location: Remote, with occasional in-person meetings if preferred (not mandatory) Hours: Full-time Contract length: 3 months minimum, with scope to extend to 12 months Start date: Mid-October We're looking for someone with a positive, outcome-driven attitude who can manage sensitive client relationships with professionalism.
